The LEGO Group has revealed the results of the first LEGO Ideas 2022 review, and a record number of submissions have been given the green light. Four of a possible 39 different Ideas projects will now enter production, which is the most in a single round – and nearly doubles the number of LEGO Ideas sets currently in the works.
As exciting as two upcoming LEGO Ideas sets are, the first 2023 review round featured a huge selection of projects – a whopping 69 of which have not been approved for an official model at the time of writing. While some of these may be able to be resubmitted and climb to 10,000 supporters again, for now don’t expect a LEGO Ideas set based Built by Lego Ideas member LEGOverwatch, the set was submitted on July 19th, 2022 and gained over 100 supporters on the same day.
