The running mode and the generic mode seem to work well though. I tried recording my last ski touring outing with the running mode, and then not selecting any sport, and got normal results (140 to 160) both times. It’s as if for hiking and ascension, the software does not sample the HR often enough, or has a setting that screws the HR reading.HRM-RUN stopped working suddenly. I've had an HRM-Run since December. It was working fine until Wednesday when it took several minutes for my Fenix 6X Pro to recognise it. Since then it seems invisible to the watch. I've changed the battery. It worked once but nothing since. I've checked for the corrosion thing but there's none of that. Go to GarminFenix. r/GarminFenix •. by robertjgates. View community ranking. So here is an issue I have started to notice now on a rather consistent basis since upgrading to 4.10 on my Fenix 6x Sapphire. I select Indoor Cycling workout with HR broadcast on so my Peloton Bike can display the HR on the screen. During the time when I go into the Hi everyone. Until my last two Zwift rides, my heart rate was being picked up without any problem by Zwift (i am running Zwift on my Samsung S20 and am broadcasting my heart rate from my Garmin Fenix 6 wrist watch.) So, at the end of my ride, i was able to see my entire heart rate during the ride on Zwift. My last two rides, however, this is not happening - despite the fact that Zwift shows
I did a little digging. Make sure that the sensor hub is updated with 7.11 that allows the sleep data from the watch to work. I had to plug my watch into my computer and open Garmin Express and searched for updates. After the update all is well. Hope that this helps. You can tell the sensor hub - hold left middle button in until the menu appears. When i'm using this app, Heart rate monitor does not work. The monitoring logged during the activity stay very low and does not indiquate my real Heart rate. I was thinking that it was due to the cold temperature and the fact that we grip the poles as indicated on Garmin documentation but i think that it's an app issue : HR sensor not working out of box 3156757 over 2 years ago Just received my second Fenix 6 sapphire yesterday, 1st one was sent back do to that fact I thought it was the watch that was faulty, then when I got mg second one , same thing , no heart rate tracking periohd, and no calories when I'm on the rowing machine . But for an immediate fix, which may or may not work, I recommend a hard reset (not a factory reset) by pressing and holding the Light button for > 15 seconds until the watch face goes black (off). Then restart the watch and see if anything improves. Otherwise, especially if HR accuracy is important in demanding exercise, I'd recommend a chest Fenix 6 Sensors freezing or not working. Hello all, I have a Fenix 6 Sapphire/Ti that I love, but for the last few weeks has had issues with the sensors. Randomly they'll freeze where the HR is the same value and nothing else is running except the time functions. I've tried rebooting the watch, syncing with my phone, syncing with Garmin Express Garmin Fenix 6 Pro HR not working anymore. I do have a problem, for the last 3 days i've noticed i've got false reading of sleep data, strees and energy level so i was wondering what changed. It seems the Hr sensor is not working anymore, the lights are turned off and no reading for HR.
Garmin offers two types of GPS capabilities for its watches and trackers. Unfortunately, not all Garmin watches or trackers offer GPS via a built-in sensor or Connected GPS. Built-in GPS. Garmin’s higher-end smartwatches offer built-in GPS, including the Fenix Series, Instinct Series, Venu Series, Forerunner Series, and Vivoactive Series.
1) Sweat. 2) Licking it. 3) Heart Rate Gel. 4) Changing the strap position. 5) Replacing the batteries. But this time of year, it tends to be one thing that causes heart rate spikes: cold and dry weather. The reason for this is the lack of moisture reduces the connectivity between you and the strap. Because the weather is cool but not super Hi, I have owned the Fenix 6s Pro since June 2020 and recently I am having issues with the heart rate sensor. I am finding it is wrong when I am training. For example I’ll be doing some cardio on a bike machine and my heart rate will be somewhere between 150-170 but my watch will be reporting between 90-110, which is very inaccurate. Tried I can't connect GPS anymore with my Fenix 3 since few months. If I start an activity with GPS, the GPS bar stays red and it doesn't connect to satellites. Before now, I connected GPS with saltellites in few seconds without any problem. - connected with PC, deleted folder Remotesw in Garmin, disconnected, connected again and synched with Garmin My Fenix 6S Pro does not get updated to the latest firmware using Garmin Connect. I got a new phone, but I re-paired with the new device and it is syncing my activities to Garmin Connect, so I guess there is communication between my watch and the app. "Software Update" is turned on my watch (System --> Software Update), but updates are not the heart rate monitor stops working on and off on my vivoactive 3. Sleep is also not monitored while the green sensor light is shut down. watch is touching the skin correctly. The back of the watch is clean. Tried turning on and off several times. Tried reset to default. Tried to stop hr monitor. NOTHING WORKS. I decided 199 is too high for me and to manually set it to simple standard value by formula 220 - [age], for me it is 220 - 45 = 175. Also, I have checked Physiological Metrics -> Auto Detection -> Max. HR On -> ON. As I was curious for autodetection, so I did a run with HRM Tri, for experiment did some speed interval and get 178 HR, what was .
